Coach Liron Thomas brings years of high-level basketball experience and a passion for helping young athletes reach their full potential. Before beginning his coaching journey, Liron built an impressive playing career at the NCAA Division I level.

Liron was recognized as one of the top point guards in North Carolina while attending Bull City Prep (2021–2022). He continued his basketball career at North Carolina State University from 2022–2024, where he was a part of the team's historic 2024 Final Four run.

Following NC State, Liron played at Austin Peay State University during the 2024–2025 season, where he showcased his scoring ability and leadership on the court, including a 29-point performance against Butler University.

He later continued his career at Old Dominion University during the 2025–2026 season, where he also scored 20 points against Norfolk State University, one of Norfolk, Virginia's biggest basketball rivals.

Through Thomas Elite Basketball Training, Coach Thomas uses his experience competing at the highest levels of Division I basketball to teach athletes the skills, discipline, work ethic, and mindset needed to succeed. Training sessions focus on ball handling, shooting, footwork, defense, basketball IQ, confidence, and character development.
